AFTER TAKING A SAMPLE OF NAIL TO CULTURE FOR FUNGAL INFECTION, (THIS TAKES APPROXIMATELY 3 WEEKS). IF POSITIVE THE TREATMENT WILL START.
THE TREATMENT PLAN CONSISTS OF 3 INDIVIDUAL APPOINTMENTS AND TOPICAL SPRAYS FOR HOME APPLICATION.
TREATMENT 1— INITIAL ASSESSMENT & DEBRIDEMENT OF INFECTED NAILS. PHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE TAKEN TO RECORD THE EXTENT OF THE INFECTION., CLEARANAIL CMP APPLICATION TO THE AFFECTED NAILS.
A TOPICAL ANTI-FUNGAL SPRAY IS THEN PROVIDED FOR HOME TREATMENT.
TREATMENT 2 (AT 8 WEEKS) - REVIEW OF THE TREATMENT PROGRESS & PHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE TAKEN. AND FURTHER NAIL DEBRIDEMENT IF REQUIRED.
