Verruca assessment and treatment

Verruca also known as verruca plantaris and plantar wart.
Verrucae can occur in people of all ages, but is most often found on children's feet.

A compromised immune system may also make you more vulnerable to infection ie. if taking steroids.

The virus that causes the verruca the 'Human papillomavirus' has many strains and is most commonly caught on the walking surface around swimming pools, communal showers and changing areas in gyms.

Plantar warts are usually self-limiting, meaning that the virus will run its course and disappear due to your body's own immune system fighting the infection. However treatment is generally recommended to alleviate painful and stubborn verrucae.

The practice offers two treatments: CRYOTHERAPY and FALKNORS DRY NEEDLING METHOD.
